The Dade County Wolverines softball team scored 3 runs and held the host Murray County Indians to 1 in the Wolverines non-league win on Monday.

The Wolverines now possess a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gordon Central for a 1A D-I Region 7 battle on Tuesday, September 16. Dade County will confront a Warriors team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Pepperell (Lindale, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-16.

With the loss, Murray County moves to 5-11 on the season. The Indians travel to Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA) to meet the Phoenix in a 2A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Phoenix enter the challenge with a record of 17-4. Sonoraville won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Ringgold (Ringgold, GA)
