The Savannah Christian Raiders overwhelmed the visiting Islands Sharks softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Raiders meet the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets (Brooklet, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 14. Savannah Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Burke County (Waynesboro, GA).

With the loss, Islands moves to 0-1 on the season. The Sharks travel to Jenkins (Savannah, GA) to encounter the Warriors in a 3A Region 3 outing on Tuesday, August 19. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 0-6. Jenkins lost 21-2 in their recent non-league outing against Brunswick (Brunswick, GA)
