In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Staunton Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Bunker Hill Minutemen.

The Bulldogs (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Breese Central (Breese, IL). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Breese Central beat Columbia (Columbia, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Minutemen face the Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL) in a MSM game, on Wednesday, September 17. Bunker Hill will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Crusaders go into the game with a 4-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Auburn (Auburn, IL).
