The Kirtland Central Broncos soccer team scored 11 points and limited the host Shiprock Chieftains to 1 in the Broncos league victory on Friday.
Next, the Broncos face the Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) in a 4A District 1 contest, on Tuesday, September 20. Kirtland Central will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Bengals enter the contest with a 2-7 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM).
The Chieftains now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bloomfield for a 4A District 1 contest on Tuesday, September 20. Shiprock will face a Bobcats team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-4.
