In Friday's league contest, the Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC) volleyball squad edged the host Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Bears battle the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 19. Bradford Prep will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Stallions come into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 league win over Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC).

With the loss, Mountain Island Charter drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Raptor travel to Christ the King (Huntersville, NC) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 20. The Crusaders come into the contest with a record of 8-0.
