Georgia High School Softball - Westfield School bounces Schley County

The Westfield School Hornets (Perry, GA) softball routed the visiting Schley County Wildcats (Ellaville, GA), 13-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hornets (12-3) will now prepare for their bout against Stratford Academy (Macon, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 10-6 record. In their last bout, Stratford Academy toppled Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA), 10-7, in a non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Manchester for a 1A D-II Region 6 bout on Tuesday, September 19. Schley County will confront a Blue Devils squad coming off a 17-1 league loss to Taylor County (Butler, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-6.
