Nebraska High School Volleyball - Lincoln East tips Bellevue West

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lincoln East Spartans (Lincoln, NE) and the visiting Bellevue West Thunderbirds (Bellevue, NE), saw Lincoln East's volleyball squad nip Bellevue West by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Lincoln East upgrades its record to 12-4 on the year. The Spartans host Fremont (Fremont, NE) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Fremont won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE)

The Thunderbirds now own a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grand Island for a A District bout on Saturday, September 16. Bellevue West will play a Islanders squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Gretna (Gretna, NE). The Islanders record now stands at 11-5.
