The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA) and the visiting Woodbine Tigers (Woodbine, IA), saw Boyer Valley's volleyball squad nip Woodbine by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Boyer Valley upgrades its record to 14-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Tri-Center (Neola, IA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Tri-Center won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Audubon (Audubon, IA)

The Tigers now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Ar-We-Va for a Rolling Valley bout on Tuesday, September 19. Woodbine will play a Rockets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Tri-Center (Neola, IA). The Rockets record now stands at 1-11.
