The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Woodbine Tigers (Woodbine, IA) and the host Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA), saw Woodbine's volleyball squad nip Boyer Valley by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Woodbine upgrades its record to 3-9 on the year. The Tigers host Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA) to play the Bulldogs in a Rolling Valley bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-4.
The Bulldogs now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Monona for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. Boyer Valley will play a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Siouxland Christian (Sioux City, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-7.
