In Monday's league challenge, the host Rio Vista Rams volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Highlands Scots.

The Rams (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against San Juan (Citrus Heights, CA). The Spartans come into the Sierra Delta League challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, San Juan lost by Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Scots play the Mesa Verde Mavericks (Citrus Heights, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 18. Highlands will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Woodland Christian (Woodland, CA).
