The South Pike Eagles prevailed the host Natchez Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS) in a Class 3A Region 7 game, on Tuesday, September 17. South Pike will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Cobras enter the game with a 10-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Hazlehurst (Hazlehurst, MS).
The Bulldogs (1-10) will now prepare for their game against South Jones (Ellisville, MS). The Braves enter the Class 5A Region 3 game with a 11-6 record. In their last game, South Jones gained a win over Brookhaven (Brookhaven, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
