In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host South Pike Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Natchez Bulldogs.
The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem (Tylertown, MS). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 11-5 record.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Brookhaven Panthers (Brookhaven, MS) in a Class 5A Region 3 challenge, on Monday, September 9. Natchez will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Natchez (Natchez, MS).
