The Widefield Gladiators softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Mesa Ridge Grizzlies to 5 in the Gladiators non-league win on Tuesday.
The Gladiators now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harrison for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 17. Widefield will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 20-8 non-league loss to Widefield (Colorado Springs, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
The Grizzlies (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pueblo Centennial (Pueblo, CO). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Pueblo Centennial Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO), 9-9, in a non-league battle.
