North Carolina High School Soccer - Coastal Christian knocks off Wayne Christian

In Tuesday's league outing, the host Coastal Christian Centurions soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Wayne Christian Eagles.
The Centurions (10-3) will now prepare for their test against John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC). The Saints come into the NCISAA Coastal Plain test with a 12-0 record. In their last test, John Paul II Catholic edged Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC), 2-1, in a league test.
The Eagles now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Wayne Preparatory Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Wayne Christian will clash with a Generals team coming off a 10-1 league win over American Leadership Academy (Wilmington, NC). The Generals record now stands at 7-2.
