The Crisp County Cougars softball squad (Cordele, GA), was routed 18-1 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Cook Hornets (Adel, GA)
With the triumph, Cook improves its record to 16-1 on the year. The Hornets travel to Ware County (Waycross, GA) to face the Gators in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 18. The Gators enter the contest with a record of 3-14. Ware County lost 9-1 in their recent league contest against Wayne County (Jesup, GA)
The Cougars now hold a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Tattnall County for a 2A Region 3 bout on Thursday, September 18. Crisp County will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 12-0 league loss to Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-9.
