Georgia High School Softball - Upson-Lee defeated by Mary Persons

The Upson-Lee Knights softball squad (Thomaston, GA), was routed 17-1 in Tuesday's league bout with the visiting Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA)

The Bulldogs (11-5) will now prepare for their bout against Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Lions go into the 3A Region 2 bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Trinity Christian knocked off Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA), 19-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) in a 3A Region 2 contest, on Thursday, September 18. Upson-Lee will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 4-14 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Northside (Columbus, GA).
