In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Locust Fork Hornets volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Brindlee Mountain Lions.

The Hornets (2-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Pennington (Blountsville, AL). The Tigers go into the 3A Area 11 test with a 9-14 record. In their last test, Pennington was defeated by Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL), 3-0, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Douglas for a non-league test on Monday, September 22.
