Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Brindlee Mountain Lions (Guntersville, AL) and the visiting Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL), observed Brindlee Mountain's volleyball team overcome Locust Fork by a tally of 3-0.

The Lions (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Ashville (Ashville, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 13-1 record. In their last challenge, Ashville achieved victory over Hokes Bluff (Hokes Bluff, AL), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Hornets now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holly Pond for a 3A Area 11 test on Monday, September 8. Locust Fork will face a Broncos squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Vinemont (Vinemont, AL). The Broncos record now stands at 5-4.
