The Murray Tigers volleyball squad (Murray, KY), was defeated 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Calloway County Lakers (Murray, KY)

The Lakers (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Marshall County (Benton, KY). The Marshals enter the District 4 challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Marshall County beat Community Christian (Paducah, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Ballard Memorial Bombers (Barlow, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Murray will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Bombers enter the challenge with a 16-7 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Livingston Central (Smithland, KY).
