The Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA) volleyball knocked off the host William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA), 3-0 in Tuesday's league contest.

The Hawks (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dan River (Ringgold, VA). The Wildcats enter the Dogwood contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Dan River notched a victory over Nelson County (Lovingston, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Generals battle the Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA) in a Dogwood battle, on Thursday, September 18. William Campbell will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Halifax County (South Boston, VA).
