The Mavericks now possess a 20-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pleasant Grove for a non-league match on Friday, September 19. Marshall will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 15-10.

The Fightin' Indians (7-10) will now prepare for their match against Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX). The Dragons enter the 5A Region II District 10 match with a 7-19 record. In their last match, Nacogdoches was tipped by Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX), 3-0, in a league match.
