The Wakefield Warriors volleyball team (Arlington, VA), was beaten 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA)

The Highlanders (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Hornets enter the Liberty challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, Herndon was beaten by Langley (McLean, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) in a Liberty challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Wakefield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Langley (McLean, VA).
