The Palacios Sharks topped the visiting Rice Consolidated Raiders volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Sharks now possess a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Industrial for a 3A Region IV District 25 outing on Friday, September 19. Palacios will play a Cobras team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Columbus (Columbus, TX). The Cobras record now stands at 23-13.

With the loss, Rice Consolidated drops to 8-13 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX) to confront the Brahmas in a 3A Region IV District 25 game on Friday, September 19. The Brahmas enter the game with a record of 17-14. Hallettsville won 3-2 in their recent league game against Edna (Edna, TX)
