North Carolina High School Volleyball - Scotland winner over Purnell Swett

The Scotland Fighting Scots topped the host Purnell Swett Rams volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Fighting Scots confront the Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) in a Tri-County 6A/7A game, on Thursday, September 18. Scotland will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record. The Pirates go into the game with a 9-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC).

With the loss, Purnell Swett drops to 6-9 on the campaign. The Rams host Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to play the Bears in a Tri-County 6A/7A outing on Thursday, September 18. The Bears come into the outing with a record of 12-2. Gray's Creek won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Harnett Central (Angier, NC)
