With the win, South improves its record to 17-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA) to encounter the Wolves in a Pioneer battle on Wednesday, September 17. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 12-11. Wiseburn- Da Vinci lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against North (Torrance, CA)

The Warriors now own a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they host Peninsula for a Pioneer contest on Thursday, September 18. West will battle a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 11-3.
