Nebraska High School Volleyball - Lincoln East can't hold off Lincoln Southwest

In Saturday's league battle, the host Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Lincoln East Spartans.

The Silver Hawks (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE). The Knights come into the A District battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Lincoln Southeast was edged by Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Spartans encounter the Fremont Tigers (Fremont, NE) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 20. Lincoln East will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 15-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE).
