In Tuesday's league outing, the host Chariho Chargers soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Cumberland Clippers.
The Chargers (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Lions go into the Division 1 outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Lincoln was overwhelmed by South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 2-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Clippers confront the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) in a Division 1 outing, on Thursday, September 19. Cumberland will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Skippers go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 2-1 league loss to Cranston West (Cranston, RI).
