West Virginia High School Soccer - James Monroe toppled by Shady Spring

The Shady Spring Tigers smashed the host James Monroe Mavericks soccer team by a tally of 6-1 in Tuesday's league game.

Next, the Tigers face the PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV) in a Coalfield AA game, on Thursday, September 19. Shady Spring will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 7-3 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Mingo Central (Matewan, WV).

The Mavericks (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Bluefield (Bluefield, WV). The Beavers come into the Coalfield AA game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Bluefield edged Midland Trail (Hico, WV), 6-1, in a league game.
