The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA) and the host Northeast Raiders (Macon, GA), observed Washington County's softball team prevail over Northeast by a tally of 17-1.

The Golden Hawks (13-4) will now prepare for their bout against Dublin (Dublin, GA). The Fighting Irish go into the 1A D-I Region 2 bout with a 4-8 record. In their last bout, Dublin was routed by East Laurens (East Dublin, GA), 13-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 2 bout, on Thursday, September 19. Northeast will attempt to advance on its 3-10 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 20-0 league loss to Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA).
