In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Marion Wolves volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Independence Mustangs.
The Wolves (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 11-0 record. In their last challenge, Xavier beat Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings (Vinton, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA).
