The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 13-7. Pontotoc won 3-1 in their recent league battle against Corinth (Corinth, MS)

The Green Wave now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lafayette for a Class 5A Region 1 battle on Thursday, September 19. West Point will encounter a Commodores squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Regents (Oxford, MS). The Commodores record now stands at 17-10.
