In Wednesday's league outing, the host Rockingham County Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Reidsville Rams.

The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Yellowjackets go into the Mid-State 3A/4A/5A outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Carver got by Reidsville (Reidsville, NC), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Rams confront the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) in a Mid-State 3A/4A/5A outing, on Monday, September 22. Reidsville will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Phoenix go into the outing with a 3-3 record after their 4-3 league win over Walkertown (Walkertown, NC).
