The Nelson County Governors volleyball team (Lovingston, VA), was dropped 2-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA)

The Bison (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Wilson Memorial defeated Staunton (Staunton, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Governors meet the Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Nelson County will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Altavista (Altavista, VA).
