The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) and the host Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA), saw Buffalo Gap's volleyball squad beat Nelson County by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Buffalo Gap upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Bison travel to Bath County (Hot Springs, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 6. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

The Governors now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Chatham for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. Nelson County will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-3.
