In Monday's league battle, the host Centaurus Warriors soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Longmont Trojans.
The Warriors (8-0) will now prepare for their battle against Greeley Central (Greeley, CO). The Wildcats go into the 5A/4A Northern Colorado battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Greeley Central nipped Loveland (Loveland, CO), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
The Trojans (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Silver Creek (Longmont, CO). The Raptors go into the 5A/4A Northern Colorado battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Silver Creek was nudged by Legacy (Broomfield, CO), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
