North Carolina High School Soccer - Manteo nudges Currituck County

September 18, 2023: Manteo, NC 27954

The Manteo Redskins soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Currituck County Knights to 1 in the Redskins league victory on Monday.

Next, the Redskins face the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A contest, on Monday, September 25. Manteo will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record.

The Knights now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holmes for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Wednesday, September 20. Currituck County will confront a Aces team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC). The Aces record now stands at 5-5.
