Spectators at Monday's league match between the Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE) and the host Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE), witnessed Hershey's softball squad prevail over Chase County by a count of 20-2.

The Panthers now sport a 8-15 record. They play next when they host Bayard for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 19. Hershey will face a Tigers squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Chadron (Chadron, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Chase County moves to 0-17 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Cozad (Cozad, NE) to face the Haymakers in a C District 10 match on Tuesday, September 19. The Haymakers go into the match with a record of 12-6. Cozad lost 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Northwest (Grand Island, NE)
