In Monday's league battle, the host Franklin Quakers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Roosevelt Roughriders.

The Quakers (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln (Portland, OR). The Cardinals come into the 6A Portland Interscholastic battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Lincoln defeated Cleveland (Portland, OR), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Roughriders encounter the Benson Tech Techmen (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland Interscholastic battle, on Wednesday, September 20. Roosevelt will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Techmen come into the battle with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Jefferson (Portland, OR).
