The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Southwest SD Raiders (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA), saw Southwest SD's volleyball squad beat Mount Miguel by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Southwest SD upgrades its record to 8-16 on the year. The Raiders travel to Madison (San Diego, CA) to play the Warhawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 20. The Warhawks go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Madison won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Crawford (San Diego, CA)

The Matadors now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Monte Vista for a Grossmont Valley bout on Thursday, September 21. Mount Miguel will play a Monarchs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 1-11.
