California High School Volleyball - Milpitas over Santa Clara

September 18, 2024: Milpitas, CA 95035

Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) and the visiting Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA), observed Milpitas's volleyball team top Santa Clara by a tally of 3-1.

The Trojans (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gilroy (Gilroy, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Gilroy was beaten by Santa Catalina (Monterey, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bruins meet the Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino contest, on Monday, September 23. Santa Clara will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Firebirds enter the contest with a 3-14 record after their 3-1 league loss to Saratoga (Saratoga, CA).
