With the triumph, Jefferson County improves its record to 6-13 on the year. The Warriors host Dublin (Dublin, GA) to face the Fighting Irish in a 1A D-I Region 2 contest on Tuesday, September 23. The Fighting Irish enter the bout with a record of 7-13.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, September 23. Northeast will attempt to advance on its 3-12 season record. The Gryphons go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 10-4 non-league loss to Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA).
