The Whitewater Wildcats the host LaGrange Grangers softball team by a margin of 9-6 in Thursday's league battle.
The Wildcats now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newnan for a non-league battle on Monday, September 22. Whitewater will confront a Cougars team coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-11.
With the loss, LaGrange drops to 10-6 on the campaign. The Grangers host Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 2 test on Tuesday, September 23. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 13-7. Mary Persons lost 7-1 in their recent non-league test against Jones County (Gray, GA)
