Nebraska High School Volleyball - Burwell edged by Nebraska Christian

Nebraska Christian Eagles (Central City, NE) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Nebraska Christian improves its record to 9-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Aquinas (David City, NE) to face the Monarchs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Aquinas lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Scotus (Columbus, NE)

Next, the Longhorns meet the Palmer Tigers (Palmer, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Burwell will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Harvard (Harvard, NE).
