Nebraska High School Volleyball - Nebraska Christian tips Central Valley

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Nebraska Christian Eagles (Central City, NE) and the visiting Central Valley Cougars (Greeley, NE), observed Nebraska Christian's volleyball team hold off Central Valley by a count of 2-1.

With the win, Nebraska Christian improves its record to 9-1 on the season. The Eagles host Burwell (Burwell, NE) to face the Longhorns in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Longhorns go into the test with a record of 6-2. Burwell won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Fullerton (Fullerton, NE)

Next, the Cougars meet the Twin Loup Wolves (Sargent, NE) in a D1 District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Chambers/Wheeler Central (Chambers, NE).
