With the win, New Hope improves its record to 9-19 on the season. The Trojans travel to Lafayette (Oxford, MS) to encounter the Commodores in a Class 5A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Commodores enter the challenge with a record of 8-17. Lafayette lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS)

Next, the Falcons meet the West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Green Wave go into the test with a 3-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS).
