In Thursday's league challenge, the host New Hope Trojans volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Columbus Falcons.
The Trojans (4-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Bay beat Moss Point (Moss Point, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 7-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Caledonia (Caledonia, MS).
