The Muhlenberg County Mustangs topped the visiting Franklin-Simpson Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers (Harned, KY) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 22. Muhlenberg County will attempt to advance on its 14-7 season record. The Fighting Tigers go into the game with a 15-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Webster County (Dixon, KY).
The Wildcats (4-18) will now prepare for their game against Portland (Portland, TN). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 11-12 record. In their last game, Portland was topped by Loretto (Loretto, TN), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
