The Rockford Auburn Knights volleyball squad (Rockford, IL), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL)

With the win, Freeport improves its record to 6-9 on the season. The Pretzels host Hononegah (Rockton, IL) to encounter the Indians in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 9-5. Hononegah lost 2-1 in their recent league battle against Guilford (Rockford, IL)

The Knights now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Boone for a non-league battle on Monday, September 22. Rockford Auburn will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 5-8.
