Southmoreland Scotties (Alverton, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Neighborhood Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Southmoreland improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Scotties travel to Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA) to face the Bucs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Bucs come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Yough Cougars (Herminie, PA) in a test, on Tuesday, September 23. Neighborhood Academy will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record.
