The South Laurel Cardinals volleyball squad (London, KY), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY)

The Colonels (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Harlan County (Harlan, KY). The Black Bears enter the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Harlan County was knocked off by Breathitt County (Jackson, KY), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Cardinals battle the Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY) in a District 50 battle, on Tuesday, September 23. South Laurel will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record.
